Teen accused of grandmother's murder to face judge
BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC)- A St. Clair County teenager accused of smothering his grandmother to death is expected in court.
A preliminary hearing was set for 19-year-old Joseph Batson last month, but was re-scheduled to today.
Police say he suffocated 59-year-old Mavis Batson with a pillow last November.
